Intensely involved with landscape her work centres on the search for a painterly language through which to express the 'essence' of place. It is the infinite possibilities of a landscape, which provide a catalyst for artistic enquiry. The variety of light, colour, atmosphere and location are a constant inspiration. A balance is sought between the intellectual order of studio practice, memory and direct observation. Judi has now opened her own Gallery - The White Gallery, 22 Nelson road, Westward Ho!
